To all members:
Please take note that this Saturday we are having physical training.
Date: 9/9/2023 (Saturday)
Time: 7:15a.m.-9:30a.m.
Venue: Hall
➡️ Those who do not have Dobok, wear PJK T-shirt with LONG pants (DO NOT WEAR JEANS)
➡️ Wear school shoes/ sports shoes. NO slippers or sandals in school (please refer to buku panduan).
➡️ Please pay attention to coach, when fall in, line up faster (according to your belt and line up from right to left).
➡️ Place your shoes in order and nicely.
➡️ Remember to memorise the Taekwondo Oath. We will ask it randomly.
➡️ Members’ fingernails and toenails must be cut before coming for training.

➡️ Please bring your phone to scan the QR code for attendance.
➡️ If you do not have a phone with you / phone don’t have battery/ data, please borrow from your friend or find AJKS.
➡️ For those who are late, we won’t count your attendance.

Time: 7:30am-4:30pm
Venue: PCGHS Hall
Today the 10th PCGHS closed championship was held at our school’s hall. We are very glad because members from our school, members from Union High School and St.George’s Girls’ Schooltook part in our competition.
Participants arrived in the school hall at 7:30am to take their attendance. Then, it was the opening ceremony of our championship. Everyone gathered at the center of the hall while Master Roy and Teacher Tan Wee Ling gave a speech to give us some advices on Taekwondo. Our emcee also invited Teacher Tan Wee Ling to break a plank to start the competition!
After that, the individual poomsae event began at 8:30am.

At 10am, the individual sparring event started. Everyone who joined this event were brave and tried their best to spar. Then, its time for lunch break.
At about 1pm, the individual sparring event continued followed by the team sparring event.

After that, it was the last event which is the breaking event which each group is required to break 20 planks to show off their skills and creativity.

After all events ended, it was finally the time to give out the medals to all the winners. Congratulations to them!

This was a meaningful competition for all the members to learn and gain experience. Well done to everyone for trying their best no matter winning or losing. We are very happy to be able to join this successful championship. We certainly hope to see improvements and more creative next year !
